Scholarship for school available
You could have $400 to help pay for books. Are you a legal resident of Graham or Greenlee County? Have you finished two years of college education?
The Safford branch of AAUW (American Associa-tion of University Women) gives out this scholarship every year to promote higher education on a local level. The application form is available at the Financial Aids Office at Eastern Arizona College and also from Bee Lancaster. Send your request to Bee Lancaster, AAUW Scholar-ship, P.O. Box 809, Thatcher, AZ 85552. You can also e-mail your request to aauw@tinaja.com. The deadline for completed applications is Wednesday, April 18, by 4 p.m. If you have any further questions, e-mail them or call 428-4073.
