Bailey receives Sastavickas Scholarship
Lauren Bailey, a 2008 graduate of Norwood High School, was selected to receive a $500 scholarship in memory of Viola Sastavickas.
This scholarship was established by a donation from the children of Viola and Joseph Sastavickas. It is presented annually to an employee or volunteer of the Morrill Memorial Library.
Bailey has loved books and the library since childhood. She began volunteering in the Children’s Department when she was a freshman in high school and started work as a page in 2006. She will attend Northeastern University in the fall where she plans to study political science.
